Name: Springtrap
Age: Most likely in his seventies or eighties; Fourties or fifties when he died
AU/PG/CANON/OC: Five Nights at Freddy's 3 (Canon)
Summary:
Springtrap was a remorseless child killer before he died. He was in it for the thrill and challenge of trying to perform the perfect crime. He succeeded twice without concequence. He once got urges to commit perfect crimes at times, but only really acted on those urges twice. He'll analyze everything he can, from layouts and the schedules of people, getting a better sense of whether or not he can commit the crime or not.
However... after his death, most of those urges have mostly died. When he became Springtrap, those urges have mostly collapsed into a smoking ruin. He's in constant physical pain all the time and it even hurts him to talk. He has a small obsession with trying to do anything to ease the pain, including trying to distract himself with curiosity. He feels as if he's lost his identity and isn't worthy of being treated as anything but an animatronic.
He feels guilt, but thinks that guilt will only bring him more anguish, thus he buries it deep inside, trying never let it get a chance to fester and grow. He thinks guilt will only bring him more pain and anguish, so he ignores it and focuses on other things. He only wants his pain to end.
Due to having been isolated completely alone for thirty years, he is now really out of touch with society. He knows absolutely nothing of what happened after 1993. His social skills have also degraded incredibly. He now has trouble reading other peoples' social cues and even has trouble expressing himself properly. This gets compounded by the fact that he now has to mostly pantomime what he means, but having no idea how to pantomime more complex ideas.
Springtrap, in addition to his physical pain, is also suffering from an amount of mental problems. When things don't go his way, his anxiety rises and he starts to panic. He hardly remembers what he did when he was alive, but he believes he was always in control of the situation and always being on top of things. This could not be more wrong. He became somewhat paranoid of most things he doesn't know of and will jump to conclusions at times. When he think things look bleak for him, he'll devolve into a sort of depression, not wanting to move at all.
He's gained a liking to shadows and sneaking everywhere he wants to go to. The shadows and dark places somehow make him feel more comfortable and more in control of the suituation. Thus, he'll always try and find places to hide. He'll even try to sneak up on people so they don't freak out.
Gem Considerations: Charoite 1, 2, 3, 4
Charoite is called The Stone of Transformation for a reason. It transforms negative feelings of unease, pain, loneliness, isolation, and despair into positive emotions such as comfort, creativity, courage, endurance, and a sense of freedom. This will tie in extremely well into Springtrap's personal arc. His guilt will manifest more and more in addition to his desire to actually try to become a better person and try to finally repent and atone for his sins.
He doesn't want anything to do with actually making things better, only trying to end is existence, but in the end, he'll learn that compassion and helping others and protecting them will feel much better in the long run. He transformed into an animatronic and he'll transform into an actual hero. Charoite also deals with emotional healing, and he'll come to terms with his guilt and his death. This gem will also slowly ease away any and all physical pain that he's feeling as well, so he could be able to talk with ease after a long while.
His gem location will be on the top part of his forearm and shaped like a circle. He will be able to manifest a shield, at first to protect himself, then to protect others.
Power considerations:
Springtrap doesn't really have any powers. However skilled he is at stealth or how quick he is, he'll never have come across being able to use magic. He'll try to play it off as him not really caring at all about the power. In fact, he really might not at first. But he'll eventually be curious enough to see what exactly his powers can do and see if he can somehow get more powers.

AU/PG/CANON/OC: Five Nights at Freddy's 3 (Canon)
Summary:
- Fredbear's Family Diner was a family diner that operated during the 1960s. During that time, two animatronic hybrid suits were created: Golden Freddie and Golden Bonnie. Fredbear's was eventually bought out by Fazbear Entertainment and turned into a pizzeria. Animatronics that were NOT hybrids were created and the Golden Suits were mostly retired.
- Patrick Ameth was once a human. His first visit to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza was quick, where he killed a child and got away with it. Soon after, Freddy's closed down for the first time.
- Another attempt was made with Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria in 1987. The old animatronics were retired and new "Toy" animatronics were made. Patrick happened to come across it and managed to get a job there.
- After a week of working as a night guard, he was shifted to becme a day guard. This was when he put on a Golden Freddy suit and killed six more children. He got away with it once more. Soon after, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was closed once more.
- One last attempt was made to open up Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria in 1993. Having heard it opened and all the rumors of people getting stuffed into suits, Patrick wanted to come back to dispose of any potential evidence. He snuck into the pizzeria when no one was there and destroyed all but one animatronic.
- That turned out to be a bad idea, as the ghosts of the children appeared in that instance to haunt him. Patrick panicked, but one suit remained. He ran into a small safe room and slipped into the Golden Bonnie suit to try and scare the ghosts off. This turned out to be his undoing when the general disrepair of the Golden Bonnie suit caused the springlocks to snap out and kill him, becoming Springtrap in the process. The safe room was sealed off with his corpse still inside and he was trapped for thirty years.
- Someone attempted to bring Freddy's back in the form of a horror attraction. A week before it opened, the safe room he was in was broken into and he was found and swiftly made into the main attraction. Springtrap took this opportunity to try and get to the night shift guard so he ca be released from the suit and finally be able to depart. However, he failed each night. He decided to try and end it all by burning the whole thing to the ground the day before Fazbear Fright's officially opened. He still survived and was sold at an auction thereafter.
